The Problem:
People are unaware where money flows to. This leads to less wise financial decisions
The Social Invention:
If people became really aware where their money flows to they may make different decision s about how the spend their money, and communities may make different political, economic, and social choices.
For instance when you have a large multinational company come into your neighbourhood a money flow map might show that a lot of the money flows out of the community to far away places around the world.
These money flow maps could make it clearer to people why you want to have local economies.
Such a money flow map may also make clearer to people why private banks suck away a lot of the public's money through interest on the national debt.
The money flow map could be done on a website with interactive graphics showing where money flows.
When people have a more holistic view of the money situation they can understand a lot more deeply the economics of the world.
Such a money flow map may show that the idea of trickle down economics may really need to replaced with the idea of suck up economics where money is sucked from the poor segments of society into the rich segments.
Subject: Love the idea
Technicaly, could be easily done extracting information from VISA and PayPal. At least that would give us a very clear picture about the money flow and future trends in ecommerce.
As long as the information extracted doesn´t point to an individual I think is a very good idea.

Should be great to be able to recognize for myself how money flows around the globe. It could teach me what is new or what is working and how wealth is spread around.
