If the UK are succesful in their bid for the Olympics then the new sport to be introduced could be chosen by a public vote.

If you attend the Olympics, there could be voting cards at each venue. People who are not able to attend could vote via a web or by requesting the same voter card from their gov.

Lynoure 12 Mar '05 20:51	Subject: Feasibility of the voting Depending on what part of the public gets a vote, the voting arrangements might not be that feasible. After all, it's Olympics and small countries where people don't hang around on the internet should get to vote too.

mudpuppy 12 Mar '05 19:36	Subject: possible sports How about sumo-gymnastics, rollerblade-pole vaulting, synchronized marathon running? I think its a cool idea to vote on what sports to include. We could also vote in general on sport rules like those for football, basketball etc.
