The Problem:
In airports, we are asked to empty our pockets of all metal objects before going through airport security. This often results in a handful of pocket change. And we don't give enough to charity.....
The Social Invention:
At each security line there would be a collection device (possibly similar to a Salvation Army kettle?) where people could put their spare change while emptying pockets. The collection would be regularly emptied and given to local charities.
This has an added benefit of putting a positive experience for all into the often-less-than-positive airport security check.
