With reference to the new chip and PIN system, we have come up with an idea to further enhance then security. If the pad onto which a person enters there number was to be touch screen, there could some method of re-arranging the way in which the numbers 1-9 are presented. This means that everytime the PIN is entered the numbers will be in a different order, therefore any onlookers would have no idea as to what numbers were pressed by looking at the finger positioning. Also we have heard of a flat screen being developed that can only be viewed from a head-on postion, so therefore it would be even more difficult for an onlooker to see the numbers pressed.
