That in every community there should be a communiversity that is supported by universities, to tap into local talent, skills, etc. That ART is the catalyst for these groups. These should be based in areas where uptake of education is traditionally low These communiversities should be owned by local people in a democratic manner. The aim is to provide quality education that addresses local needs and is supported not controlled by the university system. We have a living example of this in Craigmillar.
