Nicholas Albery Memory Board

Nicholas Albery, the founder and chairman of the Institute for Social Inventions, died on 3 June 2001 in a car accident. He will be greatly missed by us all, and his enthusiasm, dedication and unfailing commitment to new ideas will continue to inspire. Obituaries of Nicholas can be read at The Times, The Independent, The Guardian and at The Telegraph . A further obituary and large photo of Nicholas Albery can be seen at http://users.swing.be/sw287334/writings.htm. Many of the publications that Nicholas authored or edited are available here.

The charity set up in his honour, the Nicholas Albery Foundation, acts as an umbrella for all the socially innovatory projects Nicholas and his staff established, and for those projects which will emerge in the future. If you would like to donate to the Foundation, help as a volunteer, or support it in any way, please see the website here.

This is a space for people to share their thoughts and feelings on Nicholas' life. Anyone may post a message to this board - whether you knew him personally, or only through his work.
