Making love in the afterlife

Summarised from Bright Air, Brilliant Fire by Gerald Edelman.

A dying man consoles his grieving wife that he will return six weeks after his death. If she visits a Medium, she will meet him again. After his death, the wife waits six weeks and visits a Medium. Sure enough, she hears her husband's voice -

"Hello Darling."

"Harry, is that you?"

"Yes, it's me."

"What do you do all day?"

The voice replies:

'I get up, make love, walk, make love, eat, make love, sleep, make love - and the next day the same'

"I get up, make love, walk, make love, eat, make love, sleep, make love - and the next day the same."

"But darling, I didn't know angels in heaven made love."

The voice replied:

"I'm not an angel in heaven, I'm a rabbit in Saskatchewan."
